From a recent vacation trip.
I visited Washington DC last week for a few days, and spent a couple of hours touring the National Cathedral. Its a huge awe inspiring building, and I snapped the image here from the lower level looking up.
Over the Christmas/New Year holiday period, I was in the Myrtle Beach, NC area visiting with family, and enjoying a few 65-70 degree days. I snapped this image looking out at the Cherry Grove pier at sunset on one of the days there. I really liked the way the lamp lights reflect in the ocean.
It was taken at 1/8000 of a second, f/11 with ISO 4000 using a 100mm lens and an off camera flash to the left with a blue gel. If none of that makes any sense to you, don’t worry. I’ll be back to posting about ETL/Big Data soon.
