Macro Photography – Flowers

One of the most popular subjects for Macro photography, from what I’ve seen on the Internet and in books, is flowers. Cliche’? Maybe. But there is certainly a lot of detail that a close-up picture can pull out of a flower. Plus the shallow depth of field like in the shot above creates an interesting group of color for the background. And tonight we go back on Daylight Savings Time, so I was feeling a little springtime photography was in order.
